IEC Olympics aim to attract
the most creative, smart, innovative and talented guys in the country!
Today there are about 5 million Kazakhs living outside Kazakhstan in the world. Among them there are those who want to return to their homeland, including a generation of those who want to study in Kazakhstan and settle down in the future and contribute to the development of the economy and industry of our republic. The Olympiad “Otanga barar Zhol” is aimed at supporting compatriots who are away from their homeland to receive free education. The special purpose of this Olympiad is to identify gifted children – ethnic Kazakhs and promote their future repatriation to their historical homeland and early adaptation and integration into Kazakh society.
As part of the Olympiad, participants will have the opportunity to:
Stages of the Olympiad:
STAGE 1. At this stage, the contestant must shoot a video essay on the topic: “Outstanding personalities in the history of the Kazakh people”;
STAGE 2. At this stage, the contestant must shoot a video on the topic “What do I expect from studying at KAU?”;
THE FINAL. To participate in the final, the finalists of this Olympiad must come to the IOC. The final will consist of 2 parts: a creative exam, an interview.
“What do I expect from studying at KAU?”
The participant of the contest in this video needs to reveal the idea of “What opportunities does moving to Kazakhstan and studying at an International educational Corporation open for his personal growth and further development of the country?”.
Prize fund:
1st place — 1 internal grant for the entire period of free training;
2nd place — 1 internal grant for the first 2 years of free education;
3rd place — 1 internal grant for 1 year of free training.
The Olympiad “American Education Challenge” was created with the aim of attracting the most creative, smart, innovative and talented children of the country! “American Education Challenge” is an exciting competition that will boost the creativity of each participant and teach them how to generate cool ideas. Graduates of grades 11-12 of schools and colleges from all over Kazakhstan can take part in the Olympiad.

Stages of the Olympiad:
STAGE 1. At this stage, the participant of the Olympiad must shoot a video on the topic: “The legendary past of the Kazakh-American University?” with hashtags #KAUkz #AmericanEducationChallenge
STAGE 2. At this stage, the participant of the Olympiad should shoot a video on the topic: “An interesting present of the Kazakh-American University” with the hashtags #KAUkz #AmericanEducationChallenge
STAGE 3. At this stage, the participant of the Olympiad must shoot a video on the topic: “Exciting future of Kazakh-American University” with hashtags #KAUkz #AmericanEducationChallenge
The final of the Olympiad will last 7 days, where master classes, trainings, leisure activities, educational games and excursions for the finalists of the Olympiad are planned for 5 days.
Prize fund:
1st place — 2 internal grants for the entire period of free training;
2nd place — 4 internal grants for the first 2 years of free education;
3rd place — 8 internal grants for the first year of free education.
10% discount to all participants of the Olympiad for the first year of study at the IOC (KAU campus).
