On December 12-13, 2024, the International educational corporation (IEC) hosted the official visit of Andrew Turner, the Deputy Head of Charterhouse School (United Kingdom). During his visit, Mr. Turner explored the corporation’s infrastructure, including modern laboratories, academic buildings, and schools.
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the opening of the first Charterhouse school in Central Asia, to be established in Almaty. IEC will act as a partner in creating this world-class educational institution.
Charterhouse School Almaty will become the first branch of one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the United Kingdom in Central Asia. The school is scheduled to welcome its first students in September 2026.
The school will combine the best of British educational traditions with the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. The curriculum will fully adhere to British standards while placing special emphasis on the study of the Kazakh language, literature, and history. Approximately 80% of the teaching staff will be from the United Kingdom.
Charterhouse Almaty will be more than just an educational institution; it will serve as a hub of inspiration where the leaders of tomorrow will emerge and thrive, shaping the future of society.
