Recognizing their responsibility in fulfilling the mission of the International Educational Corporation (IEC) and considering it their duty to uphold and develop the university’s corporate culture as a center for training highly qualified specialists, researchers, and engineers in Kazakhstan’s architecture and construction industry, students accept the Student Code of Honor and pledge to adhere to it strictly.
A student of IEC complies with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter, Internal Regulations, Rules of Residence in the Student House, and other normative documents of the university.
A student of IEC respects and honors the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its national culture, history, and sovereignty, while carefully preserving and enriching the university’s traditions.
An IEC student demonstrates politeness, respect, and attentiveness in communication with fellow students, faculty, and administration.
An IEC student treats all individuals with respect, regardless of their origin, nationality, social status, religious beliefs, or worldview.
An IEC student strictly fulfills their academic responsibilities and refrains from ethical, academic, and legal violations, including: plagiarism, forgery, use of cheat sheets, copying, prompting during assessments, leveraging personal or professional connections for higher grades, bribery, deception of faculty, disrespectful behavior towards instructors, unexcused absences, and tardiness.
An IEC student protects university property and actively prevents any form of vandalism.
An IEC student respects and properly utilizes the university’s library and information resources, avoiding careless or destructive behavior.
An IEC student residing in the Student House strives to maintain a neighborly atmosphere, avoids conflicts with fellow residents and administration, and fosters a harmonious living environment.
An IEC student maintains a neat appearance that aligns with aesthetic standards.
An IEC student leads a healthy lifestyle, strives for cultural, moral, and physical self-improvement, and actively participates in the university’s social, cultural, scientific, and sports activities.
An IEC student must not engage in illegal activities, either within the university or beyond.
An IEC student must not engage in the dissemination of information aimed at destabilizing public order or participate in unauthorized gatherings, demonstrations, protests, pickets, or marches.
An IEC student refrains from any activities that conflict with the university’s interests or harm the reputation and image of IEC.
An IEC student who witnesses a violation of the Code should attempt to prevent it or report the incident to the student government or university administration.
