Main goals and objectives

The main goals of the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) are the development of the key principles for shaping and implementing scientific, scientific-technical, and innovation policies.
The main tasks of the STC include providing scientific support for education at all levels, studying and summarizing the experience of organizing scientific research in the scientific and laboratory complex, forming priority areas for fundamental and applied scientific research, and developing key directions for the implementation of the Strategy for Industrial-Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the corporation.

Meetings of the IEC Scientific and Technical Council (STC) are held at least once every two months.

The work of the IEC Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is carried out in accordance with a plan that is developed and approved for each academic year.



The work plan of the IEC Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is approved annually by the rector of the IEC.









Structure and Main Principles of Organizing the Work of the Scientific and Technical Council (STC)

The STC is formed consisting of the Chairman of the STC, the Deputy Chairman of the STC, the Scientific Secretary of the STC, and members of the STC. Membership in the STC is personal. The STC may include vice-rectors, deans of faculties, leading scientists, academic staff, and highly qualified industry specialists, including representatives of relevant public associations of academic staff. The personal composition of the STC, the nomination of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Scientific Secretary, and members of the STC are approved by an order of the rector of the IEC.

Council of Young Scientists (CYS)

Who we?

This is a public organization of the IEC and is formed from representatives of various divisions of the corporation. The overall management of the CYS activities is carried out by the director of the Center for Science and Postgraduate Education.

Goals and objectives of the CYS

The goals of the Council's activities are: to activate the professional growth of young scientists at the IEC, unite their efforts to develop current scientific problems and solve priority scientific tasks, as well as to promote the innovative activities of young scientists within the corporation.

Student Scientific Society (SSS) and its activities

The self-governing scientific association of students of the International Educational Corporation, which coordinates their scientific work.

The Student Scientific Society (SSS) aims to develop students’ interests and contribute to improving the quality of training specialists at the IEC in the field of scientific activity. The primary tasks of the SSS are the education and realization of the scientific potential of the corporation’s students.

Main Tasks of the SSS:

  • Organization of scientific events for students and research work (including master classes and contract-based R&D);

  • Promotion of science among students;

  • Creation of favorable conditions for the realization of students’ scientific potential;

  • Collaboration with national and international scientific societies and student organizations.
