“Urban Planning” is a comprehensive educational program aimed at training specialists capable of designing, planning and developing cities and settlements. It combines knowledge from the fields of architecture, engineering, economics and sociology, allowing graduates to solve problems in creating a comfortable and functional urban environment.

5. What career opportunities are available to graduates of this educational program?

During their studies, Career Fairs are held annually, where students can meet with representatives or even owners of design companies that are ready to hire new employees among students. In addition, students are sent to practical training, where they work in an architectural and construction company and gain experience. A graduate can work as a visualizer, designer, or interior designer. With the acquired skills, graduates of this educational program have the opportunity to apply the accumulated knowledge not only in the field of architectural design, but also in other creative fields related to design, cinema, computer games, animation, and public administration. There is also the opportunity to continue studying and enroll in master’s and doctoral studies in foreign countries, as well as in KazGASA, in order to be able to engage in scientific activities. Graduates may choose a career in education by becoming college teachers.
