On May 11, 2025, Shakhizada Sainbekovna Turganbayeva passed away — an outstanding scholar, educator, designer, Doctor of Art History, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Professor who made an invaluable contribution to the development of art education and culture in Kazakhstan.

She dedicated her professional life to teaching and mentoring future designers, artists, and researchers. With a profound academic background and extensive practical experience, Shakhizada Sainbekovna remained devoted to art, science, and education throughout her life.

She held positions as Dean, Head of Department, and Professor at the Faculty of Design of the International educational corporation (IEC). Her lectures, master classes, and scholarly publications inspired generations of students and colleagues.

Shakhizada Sainbekovna was the author of over 200 academic and methodological works, a participant in international conferences, and a member of the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Her professional achievements were recognized with numerous awards, including the Y. Altynsarin Gold Medal and the A. Baitursynov Silver Medal.

The bright memory of Shakhizada Sainbekovna will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her, studied under her, or worked alongside her. Her dedication, energy, kindness, and talent will continue to live in the deeds, ideas, and people she inspired.
