On February 12, 2025, as part of the international Italian Design Day, IEC (KazGASA) welcomed a delegation from Italy. The delegation included the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Kazakhstan, Aniello Petito, the Director of the Italian Cultural Center, Edoardo Crisafulli, the Director of the Italian Trade Agency, Martino Castellani, and the Ambassador of Italian Design in Kazakhstan, Salvatore Amura.
A key part of the visit was a guest lecture by Salvatore Amura on the topic: “Overcoming Inequalities: Design for a Better Life.” In his speech, he presented the latest trends in Italian design and discussed its impact on creating a comfortable and inclusive urban environment.
