Currently, there are about 5 million Kazakhs living outside of Kazakhstan. Among them, there are those who wish to return to their homeland, including a generation who wants to study in Kazakhstan and later settle and contribute to the development of the economy and industry of our republic. The “Otanğa Barar Jol” Olympiad is aimed at supporting compatriots living far from their homeland to receive free education. The special goal of this Olympiad is to identify talented children of ethnic Kazakhs and facilitate their future repatriation to their historical homeland, as well as their swift adaptation and integration into Kazakh society.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the annual “Otanǵa Barar Zhol” Olympiad has officially begun! The “Otanǵa Barar Zhol” Olympiad is aimed at supporting ethnic Kazakhs living outside the Republic of Kazakhstan and offers a unique opportunity to return to your homeland and receive a high-quality higher education for free. As part of the Olympiad, the International Educational Corporation will award internal grants for 1 year, 2 years, or the entire duration of the program. Who can participate in the Olympiad: Individuals of Kazakh ethnicity who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Olympiad will be held online

will consist of two stages and a final round: Stage

  • I: Social media post Stage
  • II: Video submission
  • Final: Interview (conducted online or in person)

Prize Fund:

1st place – 1 internal grant for the entire period of free education;
2nd place – 1 internal grant for the first 2 years of free education;
3rd place – 1 internal grant for 1 year of free education.
