Professional practice is a mandatory component of the higher education curriculum.

Practice-oriented training of students is a mandatory part of the educational process and is aimed at preparing students for industrial activity.

Professional practice is aimed at consolidating the theoretical knowledge acquired by students in the learning process, acquiring practical skills and competencies, as well as mastering best practices.

During the educational process at the IOC, the student will receive the competencies of a competitive specialist.

Educational (introductory) practice is conducted for students of the 1st year of bachelor’s degree in all specialties.

The goal is to acquire primary professional competencies, including the consolidation and deepening of theoretical knowledge acquired in the course of training, the formation of the first skills of research activity, the acquisition of practical skills and work skills in accordance with the specialty of training.

The task of the practice is to show the student how the profile enterprise works, what are the duties of specialists working in this enterprise. This is an opportunity to understand the labor process, profile specifics and other aspects of work. Each student is assigned a practice supervisor who helps the first-year student understand the basics of the profession.

Industrial practice is conducted for students of all bachelor’s degrees and is organized from the 2nd year.

The goal is to consolidate professional competence, acquire practical skills and professional experience.

Industrial practice is a serious stage in the life of every student. In the production practice, the student participates in the work of the enterprise. The practice corresponds to the profile of training and takes place at the enterprise, which the university will offer him, or the student will find on his own. The main difference between the production practice is that the student goes to the enterprise as a working unit. He carries out the assignments given to him by an employee of the enterprise assigned to him (mentor).

Pre-graduate practice is provided for the preparation and writing of a thesis (project), the content of which is determined by the topic of the final qualifying work (project).

The goal is to complete the writing of the thesis (project).

This stage is one of the most important in the life of every student, since he is practicing in the company for which he will write a thesis / project.
The purpose of pre–graduate practice is to form and consolidate real work skills in the specialty, to teach how to apply existing knowledge in life. It is important that the chosen topic and the organization’s activities fit together. The student must prove himself as a highly qualified specialist who is able to make operational decisions independently, solve various issues, and conscientiously fulfill his duties.
During the internship, the student collects data about the company/enterprise in order to analyze the current situation, identify problems, develop a plan to solve it and reflect it in the final work.

Pedagogical practice (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in scientific and pedagogical direction, PhD) is organized after studying a cycle of special disciplines or a theoretical course of study in general.

The goal is to consolidate and deepen knowledge in general scientific, cultural, psychological and pedagogical, methodological and special disciplines, as well as the formation of pedagogical skills, skills and competencies based on theoretical knowledge.

Pedagogical practice is designed to acquire the necessary practical skills and teaching skills; the formation of professional competencies through the application of theoretical knowledge; the acquisition of the ability to independently solve the tasks of a particular organization; the acquisition and consolidation of psychological and pedagogical knowledge in the field of pedagogy; the acquisition of skills of a creative approach to solving pedagogical problems; the improvement of skills and skills of independent activity (search, analytical etc.) to prepare the material for the training sessions; development of the competence of the future teacher of higher education specializing in the chosen educational program.

It is intended for undergraduates and doctoral students in order to familiarize themselves with the latest theoretical, methodological and technological achievements of domestic and foreign science, modern methods of scientific research, processing and interpretation of experimental data, processing and interpretation of experimental data in dissertation research.

The purpose of research practice is the systematization of theoretical knowledge, the development of skills for setting tasks on the topic of research and their consistent solution. When passing a research internship, a master’s/doctoral student should evaluate the object of research, describing its problems; identify some area for research; conduct an experiment or collect statistics; analyze the results of the experimental part; write a report on the work done and defend the report before the dean’s office commission.
