From April 2 to 14, 2025, the International educational corporation (KazGASA) hosted the Science Decade — a large-scale event aimed at promoting scientific knowledge, fostering a research culture, and strengthening ties between the academic community, students, and industry representatives. Throughout the ten-day program, a series of scientific seminars, panel discussions, master classes, interactive olympiads, and lectures featuring national and international experts were organized.

One of the key highlights was the open lecture “Step One in Urbanism” by international expert Ricardo Marini, where participants explored advanced principles of creating sustainable and livable urban environments. Another milestone was the opening of the Center for Turkic Culture and Heritage, coinciding with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. The new center will serve as a platform for joint educational and cultural initiatives, scientific research, and collaborative projects.

Special attention during the decade was given to youth in science: the final round of the national “Pi-Navigator” olympiad, which brought together teams from 16 universities across the country, demonstrated the intellectual potential of students. Participants presented interdisciplinary projects in ecology, technology, and engineering, and the winners were awarded prizes from the event’s partners.

The Science Decade concluded with a festive closing ceremony, where results were summarized, letters of appreciation were presented, and the contributions and enthusiasm of all participants were acknowledged. The series of events reaffirmed IEC’s commitment to integrating science, education, and innovation, and to strengthening its role as a platform for academic exchange and professional development.
