The International educational corporation and the University for the Creative Arts Signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On February 20, 2025, the International educational corporation (KazGASA) and the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding as part of the UK Future Places Forum, marking a significant step in strengthening educational ties between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan.

As one of the UK’s leading specialized universities in art, design, and creative industries, UCA brings innovative educational approaches and technologies to this collaboration. With campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, and Maidstone TV Studios, UCA will offer IEC (KazGASA) students opportunities for academic exchange programs. Access to state-of-the-art VR labs, animation studios, and 3D design complexes will allow Kazakhstani students to work with cutting-edge technologies and integrate them into the creative industry.

As part of this partnership, UCA plans to launch a franchised educational program at IEC (KazGASA), offering five internationally recognized undergraduate programs: Industrial Design, Interior Design, Business & Management, Digital Marketing & Social Media, Graphic Design. Following a recent review by UCA’s Academic Partnership Committee, the collaboration is moving to the next phase – the validation process. This stage includes a visit from UCA’s academic commission and an external expert to finalize program details and ensure they meet UCA’s academic standards.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding opens new opportunities for students interested in advanced education in creative industries and strengthens international cooperation in higher education.
