The two-day IX International Conference ALCOR BIMDAY 2025, the largest event dedicated to digital technologies in architecture, construction, and industrial design, was held at the International educational corporation (KazGASA).
On May 22, the program began with a training session titled “Smart 3D (SmartPlant 3D): An Interdisciplinary Design Environment,” conducted by Eskender Turmagambetov (ALCOR). Participants were introduced to the capabilities of an integrated digital platform for industrial design.
The official opening of the conference took place on May 23, with welcoming remarks delivered by the Rector of IEC, Margarita Imandosova, and Provost Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliyev. The conference brought together leading international and local experts, engineers, architects, and business representatives to discuss modern solutions in the fields of BIM, digital twins, and intelligent design.
The main program of the conference focused on two key areas:
Digital transformation in industry: topics included digital twins and predictive analytics, engineering data management, situational control centers, transitioning from 2D to 3D, and reducing construction losses. Solutions from Siemens, Trimble, Bentley, and other partners were presented.
Urban and construction digitalization: discussions covered BIM practices in BI Group and Kazakhstani design companies, urban digital twins and sustainable development, and the eQalau.kz platform for digital construction monitoring.
ALCOR BIMDAY 2025 reaffirmed IEC’s position as a leading platform for the promotion of digital solutions in education, design, and construction.
