On May 14, 2025, a delegation from the Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Architectural and Construction University (Uzbekistan) visited the International educational corporation (KazGASA) as part of a previously signed bilateral Memorandum of Understanding.
Samarkand State Architectural and Construction University is one of Uzbekistan’s leading universities, ranking 6th in the national Webometrics ranking for openness. The university is known for its strong academic school in the field of historical and cultural heritage and aims to train doctoral students through modern scientific approaches and practical skills.
The delegation included:
– Parviz Akhmedzade — Professor, Dean of the Graduate School of Science and Education;
– Dilnoza Zaynidinovna Kamalova — Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture;
– Dilrabo Akbarovna Azimova — Coordinator of the Graduate School of Science and Education.
As part of the visit, the delegation was given a tour of the renovated academic building. The guests visited the university museum, state-of-the-art laboratories, and the Department of Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation and discuss prospects for bilateral academic collaboration between the universities. Key areas included the development of joint research projects, participation in international programs such as Horizon Europe, and the expansion of academic mobility for both students and faculty.
