The IЕC participated in the fourth World Chemistry Conference held in Paris.

The research group from the IЕC, IRN project “Development of Multifunctional Nano- and Micromodifiers for High-Functional Concrete Technology”, funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, successfully presented its research results at the conference.

The group, led by Bekturganova Naila Esengeldievna, Director of the Postgraduate Education Department and Professor of FCTIM (Faculty of Construction, Technologies, Infrastructure and Management), as well as project executors, Inna Kolesnikova, Alexander Suvorov, Ainur Tukhtamishev, and Aiganym Ismailov presented the results of synthesizing a carboxyl-containing polydimethylsiloxane modifier and its use in concrete. This significantly improved the physical and mechanical properties of concrete.
