Brief history of the Faculty
In the first years after the opening of AIACE, the Faculty of Technology was established and in 2006 renamed the Faculty of Construction Technologies, Infrastructure and Management. Since its foundation, for many years, the deans of the faculty have been, respectively, Academician of the IA RK, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Saibulatov S.Zh and Doctor of Economics Adilov Zh.M.
The FSTIM includes specialties: PSMIK, TDO, Economics, Accounting and Audit, Management. Since 2006, the faculty has been headed by assoc. prof., Candidate of Technical Sciences A.S. Espaeva.
From September 2013 to 2017, the faculty was headed by Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc. prof. Adilova D.A. (currently Vice President of the IOC).
From September 2017 to December 2018, the faculty was headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor. Omirzhanova Zh.T.
Since January 2019, the dean of the faculty is a Candidate of Technical Sciences, assoc.prof. Estemesova A.S.
Currently, the faculty is training in six bachelor’s degree specialties, six master’s degree specialties and three doctoral specialties.

Remote sensing of the Earth is the observation of the Earth's surface by ground, aviation and space means equipped with various types of shooting equipment. Graduates of the program will be able to work in various ground support services for remote sensing of the Earth – laying identification marks, linking calibration polygons, control and GNSS flight support), desk activities (decryption, interpretation, compilation of thematic maps), as well as in organizations developing special networks and systems, including satellite.
