International Festival of Architecture, Construction and Design Schools of Eurasia

International Festival of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Design Schools of Eurasia is organized with the aim of strengthening the role of universities in the professional orientation of students; training specialists in demand in the labor market; encouraging promising graduates - future specialists in the field of architecture, construction, design.

THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES EVENTS:

History

The International Festival of Architecture, Construction and Design Schools of Eurasia, which was first initiated by the President of KazGASA, Professor Amirlan Aidarbekovich Kussainov and the Secretary-General of TURKSOY, Professor Diusen Kurabayevich Kaseinov, takes place annually. Our academy was the first Kazakhstani higher education institution to hold a large-scale event at a foreign university. The tradition of the Festival dates back to 2009.

2009
The first International Festival was held with the participation of 18 universities in Eurasia from 7 countries. At Maltepe University in Turkey, 115 projects of the best graduation projects were submitted for the international review competition.
2013 
III III International Festival at Yildiz Technical University with participation of 38 Eurasian universities from 12 countries. A total of 261 projects were submitted to the International Review Competition.
2015
V International Festival based at the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation in Florence. Thirty-seven Eurasian universities from 15 countries participate. A total of 217 graduation works were submitted to the International Competition.

2017
The VII International Festival
at Samara State Technical University with the participation of 56 Eurasian universities from 18 countries. 332 projects were presented at the International Competition.

2019
The IX International Festiva
l was hosted by the Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute, the Samarkand State Architecture and Construction Institute named after V.I. Vernadsky, the Samarkand State Architecture and Construction Institute, and the Bukhara State Architecture and Construction Institute. Ulugbek and Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, with representatives from 83 Eurasian universities from 18 countries attending. A total of 552 projects were presented at the international competition.

2011 
Second International Festival at the Kazakh Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, with the participation of representatives from 36 universities in Eurasia from 8 countries. 200 graduation papers were submitted for the International Competition.
2014 
IV International Festival on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul (Kyrgyzstan). 33 Eurasian universities from 8 countries, 241 projects submitted to the International Review-Competition.

2016  
The VI International Festival
at the Middle East University of Northern Cyprus was held under the auspices of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Fifty-one Eurasian universities from 18 countries participated and 246 final papers were submitted to the International Competition.

2018
The VIII International Festival
was hosted by the Technical University of Moldova, with participation of 64 Eurasian universities from 17 countries. 383 projects were presented at the International Review-Competition.

2021
X International Festival
was hosted by the Kazakh Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, with participation from 69 universities from 16 countries from across Eurasia. The festival was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Kazakh Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the 60th anniversary of architectural education in Kazakhstan. A total of 479 projects were submitted to the international competition.

INTERNATIONAL REVIEW COMPETITION OF GRADUATION PROJECTS

The International Review Competition of graduation projects is a competition organized within the framework of the International Festival of Architectural and Construction Schools of Eurasia, in which university students from participating countries participate. The international review competition shares the best works of graduates, demonstrating their school, and is also aimed at establishing ties and strengthening cooperation between Eurasian universities.

Every year, graduation projects in the specialties "Architecture", "Design", "Construction", "Production of building materials, products and structures", "Geodesy and Cartography", etc. participate in the International Review Competition. The winners of the contest, who took first, second and third places in their nominations, are awarded with diplomas. Following the results of the Festival, the organizers publish a catalog of the international festival in which the projects of the nominees of the competition are published.
