You will be able to find for yourself a bright student life based on the traditions of previous generations of IEC students. The IEC has a developed system of student clubs.
Student life is the brightest and most interesting period in life, when you get to know an infinite number of people and make friends. And, of course, this is a time of new opportunities. The opportunity to learn something new every day, to get to know people, to study science, to explore the world around you. And student life in KAZGASA is even more interesting. We have created all conditions for education, sports and leisure activities for young people. To realize the creative potential of students, there is a “Student Union” with an area of 500 square meters. In the “Student Union” various social and cultural events are held, such as: “KVN”, “Miss Kazgas”, “Miss KAU”, “Talents of freshmen”, etc. And also in the academy there are sports clubs and sections where students can study at a convenient time for them.

The League - of Volunteers is an organization of like–minded people united by the desire to help and make this world kinder. Book Club
A book club - is a formal or informal organization that unites reading enthusiasts in different cities and countries of the world. The main goal of the book club is to provide readers with the opportunity to buy, borrow, and exchange books. A club of cultural and social significance, whose main task is to increase the cultural level of readers. The peculiarity of this club is its similarity to a literary cafe of the Silver Age: here a visitor can have a cup of coffee, discuss what he has read, meet with a writer or director, view an exhibition, etc. The organization has 60 participants The founder of the club is a 1st year student of the Faculty of KAU Azizova Sevinch
President
President – debate club. The Debate Club organizes debates on various topics among IOC students. This type of activity contributes to the formation of a socially active personality; trains students in the ability to consciously and actively participate in public life, develop their point of view and defend it. Nonstop project - engaged in an entertainment program outside of school hours. Task: to rally students and brighten up their everyday weekdays and weekends. The goal: to show the whole city that the students of our university are capable of a lot and are ready to conquer all the peaks. UN Model
The Model of the United Nations (Model UN) is a synthesis of a scientific conference and a large role—playing game, during which students and high school students reproduce the work of the organs of this organization in several official languages of the United Nations, acquire diplomatic, leadership, oratorical and language skills and the ability to come to a compromise. IT Club
The IT club is interested in cryptocurrencies, programming and various Photoshop software. The main goal of the "IT CLUB" is to unite students of the Kazakh-American University and the Almaty College of Communications who are interested in and/or aspiring to knowledge in the IT field. The members of the club will meet once a week to spend time together, communicate, develop, play computer games, make new acquaintances and friends with the same interests.
StandUP
StandUP — comedy art in which a comedian performs in front of a live audience, usually speaking directly to the audience. Often special comedy clubs are organized for stand-up, and StandUP club organizes such evenings in the walls of KAZGAS. There are 21 participants in the organization
Arlan
Arlan – it is an organization of like-minded people that unites young people with an active lifestyle. The organization has 65 participants
Cyber Sport
Esports (also known as "computer sports" or "electronic sports") is a team or individual competition based on video games. The CyberSport Club gathers young people who are interested in and professionally engaged in esports. And this team will participate in esports competitions on behalf of KAZGAS.
Design Club
The Designers Club - is a creative community of people in the field of design. Its main goal is the development and promotion of club members and a relaxed atmosphere and support for like-minded people.
The university is actively developing a volunteer movement among students, students annually organize a Charity Fair on Thanksgiving Day in the fall and in the spring, the proceeds from which are donated to children with cerebral palsy and Autism syndrome, as well as disadvantaged children from orphanages in Almaty. The Student Volunteer Organization MOK_Family is at the head of the volunteer movement.
If you are interested in making videos and editing films, then we can offer you activities in our own educational TV and production studio.
Student initiatives such as recitation and public reading of poetry, public speaking, debates, KAU Talks (i.e. self-presentations in TEDx format), Book crossing, excursions to the mountains, shooting promo videos and films within their own educational production studio, and various flash mobs are actively developing.
