Military Department of IEC

Since February 1, 2024, the military department of IOC LLP has been accepting applications from students of IOC, ATU, ASUE, ETU, KAU, KBTU, DFUK, TURAN for participation in the competitive selection for reserve officer and sergeant programs.

Training is carried out using the military day method, the training period is 1 year for the reserve sergeant program and 2 years for the reserve officer program. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (boys and girls) aged no more than 24 years for the year of the competition are allowed to participate in training. Girls are trained only in the reserve officer training program.

To participate in the competitive selection for training in the reserve officer training program, applications are accepted from 1st year students (with 4 years of study), 1st-2nd year students (with 5 years of study).

To participate in the competitive selection for training in the reserve sergeant training program, applications are accepted from students of the 1st-2nd year (with 4-year training) and 1-3rd year students (with 5-year training). Students studying under the abbreviated form are accepted for training only in the reserve sergeant training program.

Training of students of ATU, ASUE, ETU, KAU, KBTU, DFUK, TURAN under the program of reserve officers and reserve sergeants is carried out on a paid basis.

The admissions office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 16:30, lunch from 12:30 to 13:30.

The competitive selection is carried out in four stages. A student is allowed to pass each stage of the competition only once.

Stage 1 – passing a medical examination at the Department of Defense Affairs.

To undergo a medical examination, you must arrive at the specified address and receive a referral for a medical examination and a medical card. Have with you:

Identity card (original and copy).

Certificate of registration or military ID (original and copy).

Photos size 3×4 – 2 (two) pcs.

Certificate of presence or absence of criminal record.

A certificate of the student’s actual studies at the university, signed by the dean of the faculty.

Document (if available) confirming the sporting achievement.

Folder – 1 pc.

File sheet – 2 pcs.

A medical examination is carried out at the Department of Defense Affairs at the place of military registration (non-resident students must register for military registration at the place of temporary registration). The deadline for submitting the medical examination card is May 13, 2024.

Students who have submitted applications and passed medical examination cards are admitted to the next stages of competitive selection.

Stages 2, 3 and 4 will take place between 28 and 31 May 2024.

Stage 2 – conducting professional psychological testing.

Stage 3 – physical fitness test.

Stage 4 – competitive selection, carried out in accordance with the calculation of the rating score.

Students who do not score 9 points in the sum of three standards are considered to have failed the competition stage.

The management of the OVPO credentials committee will issue GPAs for the completed course of study for candidates who have passed the medical examination
